不論是開車或是搭乘小火車前往老五民宿，沿途都會經過集集小鎮，可順道前往集集老街逛逛、到綠色隧道騎一段單車，享受自在愜意的午後時光後，再來到水里知名的蛇窯，文化園區內有完整展示，可一探陶百年傳統藝術的殿堂。而景緻優美的水里鵲橋離老五民宿更近，很受來老五民宿遊玩的朋友喜愛，入住後晚餐前，輕鬆散步前往，可在橋上俯瞰陳有蘭溪溪谷、遠眺阿里山山脈，享受落日金黃，視野相當好。如果剛下過雨，更有機會看到彩虹與鵲橋相映的幸福美景！
離老五民宿約莫一個半小時車程，隸屬屬於玉山國家公園的塔塔加遊客中心，是新中橫公路的最佳遊憩點，沿塔塔加步道可遠眺玉山群峰，與知名的夫妻樹結伴相依。新中橫公路四季風景如畫，無論散步或單車騎行，都能享受山林間豐沛的芬多精，如果運氣好，在猴行陸橋還可以看到野生台灣獼猴哦！

From the Taoyuan Airport, Taichung is the transit point for destinations in Central Taiwan. Thus, you have to take either bus, railway or high speed rail from Taoyan Airport to Taichung Railway Station then change the local rail to Shueili Township.

Way 1
After you arrive Taichung Railway station, take “Jiji（集集）Line Railway to Shueili（水里）Station“.
Way 2
Take the taxi sharing service of 國泰交通 (a cab company in front of the Taichung Railway Station ) to Shueili railway Station (about NT200 per person, extra charge for overweight luggage).

3.Shueili Township－ Old Five B&B（老五民宿）
A# Take taxi straight to B&B or
B# The員林客運（Yuanlin Bus Company） which opposite the 7-11 store. There are few bus line you can take“信義, 羅娜, 東浦, 和社 or 新鄉” Line, and get off at the”An ts'un Stop＂(安村站). Just in case you miss the stop, ask the driver remind you when to get off.
C# Once you arrive ”An ts'un Stop＂(安村站) , give us a call and we will pick you up.
A# Take taxi straight to B&B or
B# The員林客運（Yuanlin Bus Company） which opposite the 7-11 store. There are few bus line you can take“信義, 羅娜, 東浦, 和社 or 新鄉” Line, and get off at the”An ts'un Stop＂(安村站). Just in case you miss the stop, ask the driver remind you when to get off.
